Megan has over 10 years experience in risk management and internal audit fields across private and public sector organisations.
Megan has successfully combined her solid background in risk
management and audit with relevant tertiary and industry qualifications
including completion of the Certified Internal Audit Program (CIA).
Megan is the lead project director for the Southern Health risk and
audit contract (which Wyndarra has held for the past 10 years) and
since 2004 has been the lead project director for the Peter MacCallum
risk and audit contract.
Megan’s range of assignments have included organisational and
business risk assessments, financial processes and event flowcharting,
control gap analysis and assurance reviews for various public and
private companies.
Highlights
- Delivered a governance and strategic risk management implementation
seminarfor senior executives of Victorian Government Agencies on behalf
of VMIA
- Designed and delivered a fraud awareness seminar based on the
Australian Fraud and Corruption Control Standard (AS 8001 – 2003) to
South West Tafe
- Delivered a Risk Management Strategy and facilitated a business risk assessment project for Slater & Gordon
- Completed a major contract to ANZ banking group working with the
Group Finance Unit on process mapping application for the introduction
of compliance processes and Sarbanes & Oxley requirements
- Over eight years experience in CSIRO’s internal audit unit where
she has gained valuable experience and strong skills in undertaking
risk assessments, internal risk based audits, special projects and
reviews at an Organisational and business unit level
