The implementation of WynRisk ensures that the methodology used at Mt Hotham is consistent with other Victorian Ski Resorts. Mt Hotham currently uses WynRisk to identify and analyse all high and significant risk exposures and to identify opportunities for improvement in work practice and mechanisms for innovation.
Background
The Mount Hotham Ski Resort is the second highest resort village in Australia. The Mount Hotham Alpine Resort features 3.2 square kilometres of ski area, including 35 kilometres of tree-lined cross-country trails and a network of 13 lifts.
Wyndarra Consulting assisted the Alpine Resort Management Board of Australia with the review and development of their risk management processes and practices to reduce risk exposure across the five alpine Boards, via better risk management practices.
WynRisk
The Mount Hotham Ski Resort currently uses WynRisk to report their risk profile to the Board, ensuring compliance with International Risk Methodology, and consistency with the other Victoria Ski Resorts (Mt Buller & Mt Stirling, Mt Baw Baw, Lake Mountain and Falls Creek) who also currently use WynRisk.
